Making Music In Minecraft
A unique, interactive session showing how we use the Minecraft platform to teach key musical principles. This will be a hands on session for delegates exploring music education delivered in the child’s preferred environment. Bring your inner child. Working with The Norfolk Music Hub, Lab Media has been delivering these sessions in schools and after school, with looked after children, enjoying great results.

Carl Cole is a musician, composer and educator based in Norfolk, UK. His music and performance work often explores links between science and musical concepts, and he regularly teaches in new and interesting ways whilst exploring new mediums for the art form. He is an experienced community music facilitator and believes passionately in the power of music to have a positive and meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Paul Weston a Director of Lab Media. Lab Media simplifies technology for its creative use to make positive change in education, health and social inclusion. Paul is an experienced educator, musician, artist and explorer of all things technical and creative. His current musical outlets include playing drums for The Dove and Boweevil Band and Lucy Grubb. During lockdown Paul created the Verse Converse project.
