Friday Afternoons: Supporting quality singing with young people
After a long period of evaluation of the project, Snape Maltings are relaunching Friday Afternoons today, on Benjamin Britten’s Birthday, with a new-look website and resources, and a focus on teacher training and support. Our session at the Music Mark conference re-launches the project, demonstrates effective use of the resources and website, and introduces delegates to ways their hubs can be involved through training and support. Including a performance from young people involved in the Friday Afternoons Big Sing in Hull, the session aims to inform delegates of how the Friday Afternoons projects can be used to support leadership development in a number of ways
