The session will explore the interplay between body percussion and singing to discover approaches to creating musical arrangements that include: the role of accompaniment – rhythmic and harmonic (including the transfer of pitches to rhythms created on the body); creating body percussion moments in songs that draw on the rhythmic nature of the lyrics; look at body percussion that can be done whilst singing (quite a co-ordination challenge for many!)
